This study focuses on the impact of self-reported primary supermarkets and aims to examine the selection of supermarkets, including the extent and use of different supermarkets, to provide a more differentiated view of how these factors can affect health and social patterns of shopping. Taken together, these studies suggest that supermarket choice and shopping behaviour can influence food shopping and thus nutritional health.
